Lansweeper Connect – Spring 2025: Turning Insights into Impact at Every Level
Summer’s right around the corner, which means that soon all of your colleagues will be disappearing from the office for their summer holidays. Before that happens, we all got together for Lansweeper Connect – Spring 2025 to bring you the latest and greatest news from Lansweeper as presented by our product experts.
After a keynote by Maarten about the future of Lansweeper, Jason, Saqib, and Thomas walked us through all the ways Lansweeper empowers IT professionals at all levels, from sysadmins to CIOs, to transform Insights into Impact. Kristof took us on a special tour of our security by design initiative and Esben presented a closer look at how the Flow Builder is shaping our ecosystem of automation.
Let’s recap what we learned.
Lansweeper for System Administrators: From Inventory to Impact
System administrators are the unsung heroes of the IT department. They keep our systems running smoothly amidst ever-changing environments. At Lansweeper, we’re committed to making their job smarter and easier. Here’s how we do it:
Unified Discovery: One Platform, Every Asset, Zero Blind Spots
Lansweeper already offers deep asset discovery and unified inventory across physical, virtual, cloud, OT, and IoT environments. But as always, we’re dedicated to keep expanding discovery: completely unified, broader coverage, faster updates, and cleaner inventory mean no more redundant entries, stale data, or missing virtual machines. No gaps, no guesswork, and no jumping between tools.
Automation That Saves Time
New, global, automated asset and user cleanup rules eliminate the manual cleanup that clutters audits and bogs down maintenance. Automatically flag devices that have been inactive for 90 days and purge deactivated accounts, without lifting a finger. This reduces noise and surfaces only what’s relevant.
Dashboards Designed for You
You’ve heard of them before, and we are proud to announce that our interactive BI-powered Dashboards are now available for everyone in preview. Simplifying how you analyze and act on your environment, the new dashboards let you visualize data by department, OS version, or location, instantly. Spot patterns, prioritize issues, and track changes, no report-building needed.

Actionable Automation, No Coding Required
Flow Builder (Beta) helps admins to stop chasing alerts and start acting on them. With 170+ connectors (ServiceNow, Slack, and more), it plugs straight into your tech stack so you can automate responses like opening tickets or tagging assets when high-risk devices appear. Best of all, no coding required, just use a template and go.
Better UX for Long Days and Late Nights
To give you the best possible user experience, we need the best possible interface. Introducing the new Lansweeper UI 2.0! Enhancements were made to improve accessibility and navigation, including the long-awaited Dark Mode for those late-night sessions. And the platform itself? Faster, more responsive, and scalable for large datasets.

Lansweeper for IT Directors: Turning Insight into Business Value
The job of an IT Director goes beyond keeping the systems running. You are tasked with answering tough questions at cross-functional meetings, bringing clarity to technology investments, and ensure every IT initiative supports broader organizational goals. Lansweeper is evolving to help IT Directors like you lead with confidence.
Context Intelligence for Connected Insights
Our new Context Intelligence capabilities help you see the bigger picture of your IT environment. It takes insights beyond simple visibility to map relationships between users and assets. This means you can quickly identify who owns what, where gaps exist, and how to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
Real-Time, Board-Ready Dashboards
Whether preparing for an audit, planning a license refresh, or identifying cost centers, the BI-Powered Dashboards let you slice data by usage, activity, department, and more. For example, isolate inactive users to highlight underutilized licenses, or spotlight risky software running in high-impact zones. All stakeholders from your team to your CIO, to your finance department work from a shared, visual source of truth to keep everyone on the same page.
HVMND: Know Where You Stand
Want to see how your IT operations and security efforts compare to industry peers? With HVMND Benchmarking, you can now filter risk posture data by region, industry, or tech stack, giving your board more meaningful context beyond averages.

Orchestration at Scale, and in the US
The Flow Builder (Beta) now supports US-hosted environments, has been outfitted with visual onboarding flows, connects with HR inputs, provisions licensing, and sends Slack notifications, all automated, all with no developer needed. It’s not just automation, it’s orchestration, designed to scale securely with your team.
Lansweeper for the CIO: From Reporting to Strategy
CIOs are under constant pressure to prove that IT isn’t just a cost center, but a strategic engine for growth, resilience, and innovation. From cost optimization and compliance to digital transformation and boardroom alignment, your role is about connecting the dots between operations and strategy. With Lansweeper, you gain the strategic visibility you need to drive the business forward, backed by insight you can trust.
One Platform, One Truth
You need visibility you can trust and, luckily, that’s where Lansweeper excels. Lansweeper provides a centralized view of your technology estate, connecting data that you can turn into strategy from software utilization, patch compliance, and lifecycle management to compliance, audit readiness and budget optimization.
Data That Moves the Boardroom
With structured, executive-ready dashboards, CIOs and their teams can report on:
- Underutilized or outdated assets
- Risk exposure due to unpatched systems
- License spend tied to inactive accounts
These insights help shift conversations from tactical fixes to strategic investments, like demonstrating savings from asset consolidation or compliance confidence with Audit Trails and US Data Residency.
Automation and Ecosystem: From Data to Action
Flow Builder is without a doubt one of our most shiny and exciting new additions to Lansweeper’s ecosystem of automation. If you missed the Lansweeper Connect event, make sure to check out the recording to see Esben’s demo.
The ecosystem team is laying the foundation for a truly connected IT automation ecosystem that will enable users to build workflows that not only visualize risk but take meaningful action, automatically. The demo shows a real example of a workflow that leverages AI to assess software behavior risk and automates security responses through an Intune integration.
This is more than a proof of concept; it’s a look at what’s possible when asset intelligence, AI, and automation come together. Whether you’re using pre-built templates or building your own, Lansweeper’s ecosystem approach is about empowering users to go from data to decision to action, automatically.

Security by Design: Security That’s Built-In, Not Bolted On
At Lansweeper, we believe security is not just a feature; it’s a product principle. That’s why we’ve introduced Security by Design: a cross-functional initiative to ensure every customer can use our platform securely by default.
We’ve already built a strong foundation in the past by offering two-factor authentication and granular role-based access in the cloud platform, a bug bounty program and regular penetration tests. Network Discovery was built with security in mind from day 1 and our Trust Center provides transparency by giving anyone who is interested access to our SOC 2 report, security policies, and third-party assessments. These latest changes are the next step in our commitment to security:
- Every Lansweeper Cloud Console user now has access to Audit Trails, which log all administrative actions and can be forwarded to your SIEM via API.
- We’ve introduced Auto-Update for Lansweeper Classic, ensuring your environment stays current with the latest security patches and features.
- Additionally, SSO is now available for all licensing tiers, including Starter, as we believe that fundamental security should be accessible to all.
- We’re on track to achieve ISO 27001 certification by September 2025.
- We are working on integration with credential vaults, allowing credentials to stay in your most secure locations.
Security by Design isn’t a slogan. It’s a commitment to help you operate with greater confidence and less effort. Because the biggest threats aren’t always sophisticated exploits, but simply misconfigurations and overlooked gaps. Lansweeper is here to close those gaps, by design.

One Platform, Unlimited Potential
Lansweeper Connect – Spring 2025 reflects a shift. It’s not just about features anymore, but about how we empower all IT professionals, from system administrators managing day-to-day complexity to CIOs translating insights into boardroom strategy, to turn visibility into value.
Whether you’re cleaning up asset lists, automating service workflows, or preparing for your next audit, it all starts with a trusted, unified view. And with Lansweeper, that view is more complete, intelligent, and actionable than ever.
