Enfocus, a specialist in flexible automation, has enhanced its industry-leading print preflight software, PitStop, with a host of features and enhancements designed to accelerate prepress workflows and increase productivity.

PitStop 25.07 introduces powerful new functionality that allows users to copy and paste attributes between object selections in an Action List, providing greater flexibility when modifying object properties in PDF files. This advancement allows users to modify selection attributes, such as a fill color or the font used for text, using any reference object.

In addition, this new version includes advanced compression options that allow users to optimize data stream compression and apply ZIP compression to JPEG images, resulting in smaller file sizes, faster transfers, and reduced storage costs.

Other improvements include: optimized structural lines, spot color selection based on their alternate color space, the ability to choose where to save new colors or resources, and adapting TrueType fonts to comply with PDF format specifications. Users can now display resources directly in the Finder and draw vertical or horizontal strokes more easily.
